Milani Color Statement lipsticks are some of the absolute best from a drugstore brand. I am so obsessed with them that I got them in....11 colors!

I love these lipsticks so much because they are super pigmented, creamy, long-wearing, and comfortable on the lips. They are affordable too - depending on where you buy them, price range is from P235 to P350. In short, I have no complaints! And with the shade selection, there's something for every skin tone or in my case, every mood!

All of them have a cream finish except for Matte Confident, which is matte (surprise!) and Dulce Caramelo and Chilled Brandy, which have some frost to them. These all have the same quite strong fruity scent, which may be a deal breaker for some, but I like it and you can't smell it at all once you've applied the lipstick.

Here we go for a review on each shade:

Admittedly, Nude Creme and Dulce Caramelo don't look very flattering on me, but that's because I have a hard time pulling off nudes in general. Nothing that some pink or darker brown lipliner underneath can't fix, though.

Fruit Punch is a dupe for popular pink lipstick MAC Chatterbox. Swatching them side by side, I cannot tell the two apart. Fruit Punch is my most-used shade out of everything else in the Color Statement line because it's a little bright, but not too much so.

Hot Pink Rage is a brighter pink with more fuchsia in it. Plumrose is a rosy berry that I can imagine would look good on most skin tones.

Flamingo Pose is a bright watermelon shade that is a dupe for MAC Impassioned. Sweet Nectar is an outright orange that really does look like the fruit. I've read on some sites that it is a dupe for MAC Morange, but I don't own that shade so I can't say that for myself.

Matte Confident is a beautiful darker blue-based red; easily one of my favorite reds ever. It's a more recent release of the Milani Color Statement lipsticks as part of its matte series. While it has a matte finish, it is still as creamy as the others.

Chilled Brandy is a reddish purple with a hint of brown. Still a beautiful color but not one of my favorites due to the quite visible frosty finish.

Sangria is a bold berry shade that looks very similar to one of my favorite MAC lipsticks, Rebel.

Black Cherry looks almost black from the tube, but when applied, is a few shades more burgundy than Sangria.

I purchased these lipsticks from my go-to website for American drugstore finds bonmarchepage.com, and on Instagram, from @le_cose_belle and @kissandtell_ph.
